License benefits customers with enhanced facilitation of business transactions into Vietnam Market

( HCM City , August 26, 2009) Schenker-Gemadept Logistics Vietnam (SGL) is the first logistics service provider to receive the coveted Trading Business License issued by the Management of the Binh Duong Industrial Zones of the People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province.

With over 10,000 square meters of state-of-the-art infrastructure, in addition to providing logistic services, SGL can now also undertake direct import-export trading business activities, representing customers without their own offices or the necessary legal permits and licenses in Vietnam . Besides the safe and secure storage of goods, including custom formalities and procedures, as well as distribution and/or retailing of goods to third parties in Vietnam on behalf of customers, SGL further provides clients with other value-added services, such as packaging, labeling, inventory checking and so on, and is also able to manage all tax-related formalities with the necessary local authorities.
